The MTV EMAs came to London last night, and in amongst the incredible outfits and awesome performances, there were a few awkward moments that some celebrities would probably rather forget.
1. Stormzy got locked in the girls' toilets
Pre-performance, Stormzy shared a Snapchat from the toilets, explaining that he had accidentally walked into the girls' and was too embarrassed to leave. He wrote, "Came to buss a shit but accidentally when in the girls toilets so I can hear bare girls outside but if I pop out now imma look mad creepy [sic]".
2. MC Grindah referred to Jared Leto as Jay Leno
While Jared Leto was being interviewed by host Rita Ora, Kurupt FM's MC Grindah interrupted with, "I've always wanted to meet Jay Leno".
Jared replied, "Sorry, what was your name again?", and yeah, it'll make you cringe.
3. A stage invader crashed French Montana's performance
During their performance of single 'Unforgettable', French Montana and Swae Lee were joined by a stage invader holding up a massive banner. The prank was later claimed by Trollstation, a YouTube channel featuring numerous British pranksters, who say it was in aid of Children In Need.
4. People thought Rita Ora's first look was because she was running late
We're assuming Rita Ora turned up in a white towel and robe ensemble on purpose, but some Twitter users thought she was just running late.
5. The cameraman didn't know whether to get this guy in shot or not
Jackson Wang from K-Pop band GOT7 was invited to the EMAs as a guest, but, er, the cameraman seemingly didn't know whether to get him in shot or not. Awkward.
6. Eminem used his acceptance speech to say he shouldn't have won
Eminem beat Kendrick Lamar, Future, Drake and Post Malone to win the Best Hip Hop Artist of 2017 - despite not releasing any new music until this month.
In his acceptance speech, he said, "First off, I'm gonna say I'm not really sure how I got this because I haven't had an album out in a few years. I got one coming, though."
7. Lana Del Ray and Camila Cabello were really enjoying each other's company
Or: not really.
8. Liam Payne fell off his skateboard
Liam Payne challenged Stormzy to a skate-off backstage, only to land on his arse and catch the whole thing on camera.
