Sylvester Stallone thanked a lot of people for the Golden Globe he won for Creed … his wife, his children, his agent, some movie studio honchos, producers, and a string of others.
Not included in his televised speech? His costar Michael B. Jordan or the film's director, Ryan Coogler. People were pissed.
Well. I'm gonna go ahead and thank RYAN COOGLER + MICHAEL B. JORDAN since no one else is. Thank you, brothers. Good work. #smh #goldenglobes

Apparently, according to those tweeting from the audience, Stallone ran back up to the microphone to thank Jordan and Coogler, as well as costar Tessa Thompson, but it was too late and the moment didn't make it onto the telecast.
Ok so at the commercial, Sylvester Stallone rushed back onstage to thank Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan but it didn't air on TV.

Sylvester Stallone realized he didn't thank #Creed's director Ryan Coogler: "You are a brilliant, brilliant filmmaker." #GoldenGlobes

When asked about the initial oversight by a Los Angeles Times reporter, Coogler brushed it off. Class act.
