Unearthed at the Old Vic

Unearthed at the Old Vic

Alan Moore, the brilliant mind behind graphic novels “The Watchmen” and “V for Vendetta” has finally finished a book. Another of his infamously lengthy projects, “Unearthing” is a biographical account of the life of Moore’s friend and fellow comic writer, Steve Moore (no relation), set to a score by the likes of Mike Patton (of Faith No More), Justin Broadrick (Godflesh), Andrew Broder (Fog) and Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai).

Having been privy to extracts read by Moore, it’s a certainty that fans of the novelist will find the peculiar, atmospheric writing that he is best known for enhanced by both the soundtrack and Moore’s gruff tones.

The multimedia box set is due for release in August, but Alan Moore will be performing “Unearthing”, accompanied by Crook & Flail (aka Andy Broder of Fog and Adam ‘Doseone‘ Drucker), on the 29th and 30th July within Southwark’s eerie Old Vic Tunnels.
