Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has urged fans to stop throwing pizzas on the Albuquerque house used as Walter White's home on the show.

Fans have been recreating a scene from season three of the TV drama, in which Bryan Cranston's White tosses a pizza onto the roof in a rage.

Speaking on a Better Call Saul insider podcast, Gilligan blasted those responsible, saying: "There is nothing original or funny or cool about throwing a pizza on this lady's roof.

"It's just not funny, it's been done before. You are not the first."

Actor Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad and spinoff show Better Call Saul added: "If I catch you doing it, I will hunt you down."

Gilligan went on to describe the people who live in the house as the "nicest people in the world".

"[They are fine] that people come by and visit and get their picture taken in front of the house, just so long as they do it within reason [and] they do it in a respectful manner," he added.
