(Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers concerning Kit Harington's character, Jon Snow, follow. If you haven't finished season five of the show, stop reading and click on another article ASAP.)

Over the long weekend, Kit Harington made an appearance at Wimbledon with an attention-grabbing amount of hair. Pics are circulating now, and speculation is brewing. Why is the hair a big deal? Look at this:

Do you miss Jon Snow? If you watched the latest GoT season finale, you probably do – and there he is. There. He. Is. This picture has become, at least briefly, a source of hope: Maybe Jon didn't die, or maybe he's coming back next season in some weird capacity? The character lives on, so long as the flow lives, right?

We're inclined to (semi-)agree. (Even though Harington said he was done: "I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really.") The Washington Post also points out that production for season six begins this month. Hmm. As TIME's Jack Linshi writes, "[D]on't expect any Game of Thrones fan[s] to give up hope now – unless he decides to get a haircut." (Stop messing around and give us another sign. Come on, Kit.)
