Lupita Nyong'o might have an Oscar, a Tony award and bachelors degree under her, belt but it looks like she can now add rapper to her impressive CV.
This week, the 33-year-old Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress showed off her lyrical finesse to celebrate reaching 3 million followers on her Instagram account.
In a video posted to the app, Nyongo' captioned the clip: 'Introducing my alter ego TROUBLEMAKER. Lyrics: @robynhoodfanz Director: @katiecm @queenofkatwemovie #3million'.
The opening line of the freestyle rap starts: "Mexican born, Kenya running through my veins, Dark chocolate, plus I keep a sharp mane, Lancôme fresh-faced, looking tailor-made, Disney on the books, so you know I stay paid."
There's also a nod to to her Queen of Katwe co-star David Oyelowo ("Next stop Katwe, rocking out with David, Don't do critics, if you're hating, please save it") and her other high-profile responsibilities, such as a Global Elephant Ambassador for WildAid ("trying to save the planet").
The best bit? She uses Nas's 'N. Y. State of Mind' as the backing track. Impeccable taste.
