Exactly one year from today, Warner Bros. will release the Blade Runner sequel that very few people asked for. To celebrate this pre-anniversary of the film, the studio has shared the title of the Blade Runner sequel and a very boring photo of some of its main players.

The film will be called Blade Runner 2049.

This mysterious title has some film enthusiasts asking the question: What could it mean?

What we know of the film so far is that the original, which came out a little more than 30 years ago, was set in 2019 and its sequel will take place a few decades afterward.

Hmmmm. Puzzling indeed.

Perhaps there are some answers in this photo, which filmmakers actually chose to release with this big news.

In this photo, which appears to be taken in a museum or Trump Tower, actor Harrison Ford (looking approximately 30 years older than he did in the original Blade Runner), is threatening director Denis Villeneuve. Producer Ridley Scott is contemplating the ethics of enslaving machines who have been created in the image of men. And heartthrob Ryan Gosling is imagining cuddling with a puppy.

So stoked for this movie, my dudes.
