Nearly a decade after the first feature-length film of The Simpsons landed on our cinema screens, one of the show's producers is talking up the idea of a sequel.
Talking to LRM Online, executive producer James L Brooks (you know, that name you've seen flash across the screen a million times in yellow font on a black background) was asked about the possibility of a part deux.
"Fox very much wants us to do another one, and maybe we will and maybe we won't - that's where it is," said Brooks.
"How do we divide our labours, and do we believe in the idea we have? We may go into a more active exploration of a second movie soon."
The first film came out in 2007, raking in more than half a billion at the box office in the US and globally, despite being a bit rubbish all things considered. But the question is: can they make a better fist of it second time around?
And the answer is: No, almost definitely not.
