It's been long overdue during a decade defined by an abundance of every superhero film imaginable (Ant Man, really?), but Wonder Woman will finally have her own blockbuster Hollywood feature. The first teaser dropped at San Diego Comic-Con over the summer, and today DC shared the first full-length trailer.

And damn, it looks incredible.

Though no one should expect anything good from a DC film, it thankfully looks like Warner Bros. didn't screw this one up. In the capable hands of Monster director Patty Jenkins, this trailer has none of the BS faux-darkness of Batman v. Superman or Suicide Squad. In fact, from the colours to the tone to the origin story, Wonder Woman looks to get back to the comic book classics, much like Captain America did.

There are fantastic shots of Diana Prince's home, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) fighting through World War I, and Chris Pine riding sidekick as Steve Trevor. The movie arrives in 2017.
