Rogue One: A Star Wars Story still isn't out for another week, but the tone of the film has been a topic of heated debate for months now. Earlier this year, news broke that Disney had ordered expensive and substantial reshoots of the film to make it more "fun."

Star Wars fans immediately took issue with this, worried that the film would take the shape of the dorky, family-friendly The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Thankfully, based on everything we've seen in the trailers so far, this doesn't seem to be the case. In the first clip of the movie, which Felicity Jones shared on The Tonight Show last night after beating up Jimmy Fallon, her character Jyn Erso is embedded in an urban war zone. She's charging into squads of Stormtroopers and kicking their asses with her baton thing. Add that to the clips of AT-ATs attacking a tropical planet and the scenes from the Rebel battle planning room, and this looks to be more of a war movie than another ripoff of A New Hope.
