It was a big night for Ryan Gosling at the 2017 Golden Globes. After La La Land scored a record-breaking seven wins, it's unsurprising that the actor and his co-star Emma Stone were eager to celebrate.
Before the partying could begin though, there were a few backstage interviews to deal with. Gosling, who picked up the Best Actor prize for his role in Damien Chazelle's film, joined the cast in the press room and, as Variety's video highlights, they were faced with one particularly detailed question.
When asked about "the love fantasy the film presents," Stone did her best to remain interested before Gosling responded in the best possible way.
"I've had too much champagne to answer that question," the Hollywood star replied. Given the successful night, that may well have been true, but Stone, who found this response hilarious, was clearly relieved someone had managed to come up with an answer.
