The next Thor movie will almost certainly do all the things people have come to expect from Thor movies: Chris Hemsworth will throw a hammer and talk in a fancy Norse god accent. Everyone is going to love Tom Hiddleston even though he's a bad guy. And it will make boatloads of money. But what's really exciting about this first teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok (the third film in the series) is Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela and Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster.

Hell yeah.

I have no idea what this movie is about, but I'm all in. And cheers to whomever decided to use Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" in the trailer, which actually references Norse mythology. It's obvious that Marvel has really figured out the right tone for these superhero movies. This looks colorful, fun, and in no way like the dark, self-serious snooze of a DC superhero film.

Watch the full trailer for the movie, which is out on 3 November, below.
