You know the cliched beats of a modern trailer. The overdramatic music. The few lines of text hanging on the screen. Giving away the film's best lines during a two-minute ad for the movie. But movie teasers were a lot different back when the original Star Wars movies came out.

ScreenCrush redid the recent trailer for The Last Jedi, the new Star Wars movie due out this December, in the style of trailers you might have seen in 1983, the year Return of the Jedi hit the box office. Come for the VHS-esque poor picture quality; stay for the heroic voice-over.
