You certainly can't accuse Colin Farrell of playing it safe with his movie choices.

He's reteamed with The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos for The Killing of a Sacred Deer and it looks every bit as weird and brilliant as their first movie together.

Backed by an eerie cover of Ellie Goulding's 'Burn', sung by Tomorrowland's Raffey Cassidy, the trailer introduces us to a whole load of people who have mysteriously lost the ability to stand.

Also starring Nicole Kidman and Alicia Silverstone, The Killing of a Sacred Deer follows prominent surgeon Steven Murphy (Farrell) who forms a bond with mysterious teenager Martin (Dunkirk's Barry Keoghan) with devastating consequences.

"I don't understand why I should have to pay the price, why my children should have to pay the price," Kidman's Anna Murphy begs Martin, who chillingly replies: "It's the only thing I can think of that's close to justice."
