There's a new Netflix Original series on the way, so here are the teaser-y first-look images.

Godless stars Jeff Daniels (The Martian, Dumb and Dumber) as Western outlaw Frank Griffin in the seven-part drama. Jack O'Connell (aka Cook from Skins) plays Roy Goode, who betrayed Frank's group of criminals and is now being hunted by his former brotherhood.

Adding to the British talent in Godless is Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery (who played Lady Mary on the ITV period drama) – an outcast widower in the show's setting of the matriarchal La Belle, New Mexico.

Steven Soderbergh, the man behind the Ocean's Trilogy, Magic Mike and Traffic (for which he won an Academy Award for Best Director), is at the helm.

Scott Frank, who wrote the scripts for The Wolverine and Logan, is on board as screenwriter on the show, which is the first limited original series to come to Netflix.

Frank and Soderbergh previously teamed up on Out of Sight, the 1998 George Clooney film which bagged the Edgar Award for Best Screenplay, alongside a couple of Oscar nominations.

Production on the series began in Santa Fe, New Mexico back in September 2016. It will also star Thomas Brodie-Sangster, of Game of Thrones / Love Actually fame, Emmy Award-winning actress Merritt Wever, and House of Cards' Jeremy Bobb.

Godless will launch on Netflix on 22 November.
