Ron Howard has dropped his most cryptic Star Wars tease yet.

The director signed on to direct the as-yet-untitled Han Solo movie in June after the film's original directors Chris Lord and Phil Miller left the project.

Since then, he has given us plenty of pictures documenting the making of the movie, and today (September 26) he dropped yet another.

Although if you want to know what it means, don't look at us.

"Can anybody translate for me?" he wrote, followed by the hashtags: "#McQuarrie #UntitledHanSoloMovie."

McQuarrie is seemingly a reference to the artist Ralph McQuarrie, who was an American conceptual designer and illustrator who worked on the original Star Wars trilogy.

He died from Parkinson's disease in 2012, before the most recent swathe of movies.

It's not known why McQuarrie was referenced in the tweet, but some fans are speculating that his design work for the original trilogy has inspired the set design for the new movie.

As for the writing in the photo? Well, some people think it is the title written in a different language – and we think so too. Although some fans think that also may have already been revealed.

On Sunday, Ron also shared a picture of Emilia Clarke as she wrapped filming on the set.

"Emilia Clarke gave us a terrific performance & left," he said.

"She completed principal photography and is off on her next adventure. Busy girl. We miss her already! Talented and great to work with."

Considering Clarke will play Han Solo's love interest Kira in the forthcoming movie, the fact her shoot is over makes us think production is almost complete.

The Han Solo Movie, as we've decided to call it, will be in cinemas 25 May, 2018.
