The Venom movie has been officially filming for two weeks now, and to celebrate, star Tom Hardy has uploaded a new photo.

It doesn't tease anything from the film, or give us a behind-the-scenes look at production, but it's a photo of Tom Hardy and it's a Monday, what more do you need?

The film's Twitter account only has two posts so far, both photos of Hardy, to celebrate filming milestones. If we were in charge of that account, every day of filming would be a milestone.

Tom Hardy isn't the only star of Venom – Michelle Williams and Rogue One's Riz Ahmed have both been cast in the film, and while Andy Serkis isn't involved, the Gollum actor seemingly let slip that Venom will be brought to life via motion capture.

Venom is one of two Spider-Man spin-offs that are in development, alongside Silver & Black.

Venom is slated for an 5 October, 2018 release.
