The introduction of Daisy Ridley's Rey (Skywalker?) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens might have been a huge hit with fans, but Daisy herself wasn't initially so sure.

Despite being the second most badass female character in the galaxy – behind General Leia Organa, obviously – Daisy recently admitted she didn't think her Star Wars debut was that good.

Speaking to ELLE for its December issue, the actress revealed that she 'struggled' dealing with the pressure of the franchise's upcoming instalment The Last Jedi.

Explaining why, she said: "I didn't think I was good in the first film, and I was struggling with that."

Although we don't think Daisy has any reason to struggle, she did concede that she was just being "highly dramatic". We can relate.

"I did the first one because I didn't really know what I was getting myself into and I was having loads of fun, and suddenly I'm realising what this actually is," she said.

"[I realised] I can't f**king do this. I'm highly dramatic."

This isn't the first time Daisy has opened up about her coming to terms with the responsibility of being a part of Star Wars, after recently admitting Episode VII forced her into therapy.

Speaking earlier this year, she said: "Everything was so confusing. People were recognising me – I still don't know how to handle it."
