Leonardo DiCaprio Is Trying To Resurrect This Classic '90s Environmental Superhero

Captain Planet and the Planeteers was a TV show that aired in the early Nineties, centering around a group of teenager with special powers who could summon a green-haired superhero called Captain Planet to deal with environmental disasters.

So far, so apathy, but what is potentially intriguing is that sources say the story takes place years after the adventures of the show, with the Captain now a washed-up has-been who needs the kids more than they need him.

Like The Wrestler, but with oil spills and magic?

In Leo we trust.
