In the world of hot celebrity redheads, it is a long-standing joke that Amy Adams and Isla Fisher bear a striking resemblance to one another.
In fact, the two were even cast as versions of the same character this year in Tom Ford's excellent thriller Nocturnal Animals.
Such is the strength of the doppelgänger (we don't entirely see it ourselves), Fisher revealed this week that she superimposed Adams' face onto her family Christmas card and no-one notices.
"I cut-and-pasted Amy Adams's face over mine, so it was Sacha, Amy, and the kids, and then we said, 'Seasons greetings from Sacha and Isla' . . . And no one noticed," Fisher told the Today show (she's married to British comedian Sacha Baron Coen).
"Everyone was like, Oh, your card was so cute. I was like, it was a joke, it's not me, it's Amy!"
Esquire will report on the quality of Fisher's Photoshoppping skills just as soon as we receive our card in the post.
