Excitingly for fans, information on Star Wars Episode VIII is finally coming to light and it has been confirmed that the story will pick up where it left off and focus on Rey and Luke Skywalker's relationship.
Not only that but the title - The Last Jedi - was released this week, sending cult fans into a spiral with theories about what it might actually mean.
Many were quick to question who this mythical Jedi was, or, as Jedi is also plural, whether this means several characters in the film.
One theory is that instead of The Last Jedi meaning Luke Skywalker might be walking the plank it might be part of a bigger sentence.
If you line up the two titles thus far it reads "The Force Awakens The Last Jedi" which really leaves the door open for the last title in the trilogy.
Though it must be said this theory doesn't hold up for the first trilogy as "A New Hope Empire Strikes Back Return Of The Jedi" doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot.
Let's hope this isn't the title of the ninth instalment or we might feel a little let down.
