In an announcement straight from the outer echelons of some unfathomable parallel universe, where the sky is pink and giant chickens rule the world, a Hollywood studio has paid £60 million to turn Nigel Farage's career into a six-part TV film.
First reported by The Telegraph, the unnamed studio is looking to serialise The Bad Boys of Brexit, the best-selling book written by Aaron Banks, the founder of the Leave.EU campaign.
According to the article, "The script is nearly finished and shooting will start in the New Year, before airing in April 2018."
The story will be told from the perspective of Gerry Gunster, a US pollster who advised the Leave.EU campaign, and will show how Farage and Banks defied the odds and ended up in America, campaigning for Donald Trump.
So far, so mad.
Hollywood, hold onto your box office records. Nige is coming.
