Ryan Reynolds has responded to the death of a stunt person working on the set of his forthcoming film Deadpool 2.

In a message on Twitter the actor described being "heartbroken, shocked and devastated."

The unnamed woman died on Monday morning after crashing through the glass of a ground-floor studio in Vancouver. She was reportedly taken to hospital but medics were unable to revive her.

The film, which stars Reynolds in the lead role alongside Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz and Jack Kesy, is due for released in June 2018.
