Now that Daniel Craig has finally confirmed he'll be returning for Bond 25, the rumour mill is in full swing.
While the question of who will be directing continues, it seems that an unusual player might have a hand in writing the script: Elon Musk.
According to a report from The Mirror (which is to be taken with a massive pinch of salt, and a vodka martini) Elon Musk is said to be building a rocket for the new film, with 007 set to explore the world of tech giants and futuristic technologies.
Musk's love for Bond is nothing new; he currently owns the famous Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me.
We have our doubts, but Daniel Craig is reportedly raring to go.
"He is involved every step of the way, as he always is, and is bursting with enthusiasm and excitement," an unnamed source is quoted as saying.
In other (better) Bond news, Craig is apparently calling for Spectre co-star Monica Bellucci to return, despite it being unclear what fate awaited her character in the last film.
With filming rumoured to take place in South Africa, and a release date of November 2019, it hopefully won't be long before we have more, down to earth, details.
And whether he goes to space or not, James Bond will return.
