The Two Ronnies Night - BBC Two, from 8pm

Being a comedy legend must be sweet. Particularly if you’re Ronnie Corbett and a whole evening of television dedicated to you happens to be airing on Christmas Eve Eve.

Ronnie was interviewed by Esquire's Rachel Cooke for our Maverick issue back in November, so we’ve got a lot of love for the wee funny man. The Two Ronnies night will kick off with the 1984 Christmas Special followed by a documentary of his life, Being Ronnie Corbett, featuring Catherine Tate and Rob Brydon, before rounding off with a special Bafta tribute to the sprightly 80-year-old.
