With trends shifting faster than you can say "deep-v and shandles" it pays to keep your finger on the pulse, and nowhere more so than the dog-eat-dog creative bear pit (revel in our mixed animal metaphors) that is New York City.

The latest documentary from Paris-based indie filmmakers R+I Creative offers a unique insight into the minds behind NYC's creative industries. Featuring commentary from a host of innovative folk including fashion designers, graphic artists and music producers, the film - directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson - is a stylish and informative take on the contagious nature of popular culture. We couldn't have done it better ourselves.
