Stephen Fry's Latest Documentary

It's a brief history of everything, and it's more than quite interesting.

This epic new documentary series is both natural history marvel and the ultimate bout of navel-gazing: the history of human beings.

Obviously, there’s a lot to get through — the first two-and-a-half minutes take us from the Big Bang through to our early hunter-gatherer ancestors in the East African Rift Valley — as the series seeks to reveal the origins of some of our most fundamental attributes: cooked food, homes, fashion (OK, animal hides stitched together with needles made out of bone) and even pets.

The US version was narrated by Josh Brolin and in the UK we get Stephen Fry, who is to our mind the perfect authority to explain how we “evolved” from spears and skins to Tulisa and Twitter.
