Eurovision is known for its local bias and long-standing national prejudices but rarely does it produce an all-out political protest song. After all, heartfelt declarations of independence don't often sound as powerful against a backdrop of Euro disco whilst wearing sequined leggings and a false moustache. Still, this winning Georgian entry by Stephane and 3G, which has now been banned from the competition on political grounds, leaves the viewer in little doubt as to the band's views on the current Russian Prime Minister and former President. Where's Terry Wogan when you need him?
