Inbetweeners 2 Release Date Confirmed

Will and the boys are back sooner than you think

In 2011 The Inbetweeners, the TV sitcom that brilliantly summed up the typical experience of British male adolescence, pulled off the most untypical of feats when it was turned into a successful film.

Now, the exact release date of The Inbetweeners 2 – which will hope to repeat that year’s £41 million box office success – has been revealed as Wednesday 6 August this year.

The sequel has stuck with same format, sending the boys off on holiday (what else could they do, send them into space?) – this time in Australia.

Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas all return as Will, Jay, Simon, Neil and Simon respectively. Joining the cast is Harry Potter star Freddie Stroma who plays a rich fellow traveller they meet along that way.

As yet, there is no confirmation whether ‘Will’s Mum’, played by Belinda Stewart-Wilson, will be joining the boys on the plane.
