James Franco stars as a dim TV host bidding to assassinate Kim Jong-un after being granted an interview with the dictator, in this new comedy from directing duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
In addition to directorial duties, Rogen steps in front of the camera for his third collaboration with Franco, this time playing TV producer and fellow assassin Aaron Rapoport who must travel to North Korea with Skylark after the CIA decides an exclusive interview is the perfect chance to off the man with the most-copied hairstyle in the world.
Featuring 007-style gadgets, tank shootouts and some fine suits and watches (and what just might be James Franco’s most self-aware performance to date) The Interview is set to be this year’s most explosive comedy.
