Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Reunited

The duo go from crystal meth to second-hand goods in new Emmy Award promo

Eleven slow months have passed since Breaking Bad finally came to an end.

Since then we’ve had a slew of big projects from Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, from Need For Speed to Godzilla, but what we’ve really been waiting for was a reunion of Walter White and Jessie Pinkman.

This new skit – promoting the Emmys – is the next best thing, as the actors (who both have Emmys on their mantelpieces and are nominated this year) star as hillbilly pawn shop owners in “Barely Legal Pawn”.

Their customer in the show is Veep’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus who attempts to pawn her Seinfeld "Best Supporting Actress" Emmy award after drunkenly purchasing a private island. As you do.

While the award is one of four owned by Dreyfus, Cranston and Paul are quick to point out that it’d be much more valuable if it was for a lead in a drama, rather than a comedy (Although Aaron Paul’s character is quick to agree that playing a supporting role is often harder).

Fingers crossed for at least a Walter White cameo in Better Call Saul.

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards airs on 25 August on NBC
