Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the spin-off is set six years before the life of criminal lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) was rocked by Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). As the series begins, the character is known as Jimmy McGill and the episodes will track his transformation into Goodman.

This Is Spinal Tap actor Michael McKean will star as McGill's brother, while fellow Breaking Bad alumni Jonathan Banks returns as the beloved Mike Ehrmantraut – bittersweet, when you consider his fate.
