Game Of Thrones: Season 5 Trailer Leaked

...and it's longer than six seconds

If you happened to be sat in an American IMAX cinema when the first full-length trailer for Game of Thrones: season five dropped, chances are you were on the cusp of combustion.

After months of tantalising six-second teasers, the trailer landed at a screening of season four's final two episodes with a HD version later released by HBO, which you can watch above.

The series returns in the US on 12 April, adapting elements from George RR Martin's door-stoppers A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. It will air in the UK a day later on Sky Atlantic.

Highlights of the two-minute clip include a bearded Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) – still suspected of murdering King Joffrey – arriving in Essos, Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) convincing Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) to "avenge" her family and Daenarys (Emilia Clarke) turning fully-fledged dictator.

Still no sign of the Hound though...
