The End Of The World Gets Frantic In The Trailer For 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

‘It was hard to know who was more crazy, me or everyone else’

We’ve seen snippets of Mad Max footage before (most notably the Japanese trailer) but for the latest look at our new cover star’s dystopian outing, ‘mastermind’ George Miller has pulled out all the stops.

As Max Rockatansky, Tom Hardy looks to be having a bad day. Apart from being introduced in chains, there’s the matter of strange white-skinned cult-like types to escape from, then an albino chap with a serious case of pink eye claiming that the post-apocalyptic outback belongs to him – as do Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoe Kravitz and Abbey Lee Kershaw (who obviously have other ideas).

Cue one epic car chase, with sandstorms, pole-vaulting psychopaths and, of course a plethora of souped-up cars that look like they were designed by a seven year old after an afternoon on the Dr Pepper.

We may have had to wait 30 years for this film, and the production may have been notoriously troubled, but if the first full-length trailer is anything to go by, it’s been well worth the wait.
