Michael Fassbender Is Up To The Task In New Steve Jobs Biopic

"I sat in a garage and invented the future"

Remember that time Ashton Kutcher played Apple co-founder Steve Jobs? Chances are, you probably chose to forget.

Fortunately, judging by this new specs-heavy teaser, director Danny Boyle seems to have breathed new life into a biopic of the late Apple co-founder, providing us with a first look at Michael Fassbender in the role.

Joining him we have Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet as Jobs' early collaborator, Joanna Hoffman.

The film, which focuses on the backstage action of three iconic product launches, culminates in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac.

Written by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network), the minute-long teaser is comprised of snippets of empowering dialogue ("the musicians play the instruments – I play the orchestra") playing out as we close in on a back-lit Jobs.

Fingers crossed Boyle has produced a biopic the pioneer deserved.
