Steve Jobs Trailer: Fassbender Takes On The Man Behind The Computer

Could this biopic of the Apple co-founder be Danny Boyle's best film in years?

If this full-length trailer is anything to go by, Michael Fassbender's going to be a busy man come awards season.

Following a teaser back in May, a wider look at Danny Boyle's biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has been granted – and it looks like it could be the director's best in years.

Whereas before the emphasis lay squarely on the man behind the computer, here the supporting characters are fleshed out including Apple exec John Sculley (Jeff Daniels), Jobs' ex Chrisann Brennan (Katherine Waterston) and marketing chief Joanna Hoffman (Kate Winslet).

But, of course, this will be Fassbender's film to steal, the actor delivering Aaron Sorkin's dialogue with relish ("You have three weeks [to fix it]; the universe was created in a third of that time").

If he's this intense in a two minute trailer, imagine the finished product.

Steve Jobs is released on 13 November.
