For those of you who desire an Avengers sex scene or feel like Thor should drop an f-bomb every now and then, this is the superhero film for you.
Deadpool is the adult cousin to Marvel's X-Men franchise that's in no way aimed at the young teenagers who queue to see Magneto and co every other year – and now the red band trailer, which stole the show at last month's Comic-Con, has finally been released in the UK.
Ryan Reynolds, who gets a second chance at the character following a tamer appearance in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine – alongside director Tim Miller – seems to have nailed the comic book's risqué tone (just try and name us another trailer that features a costumed superhero shooting three bad guys in the head before sniffing the gunfire and announcing: "I'm touching myself tonight"...)
Expect lots of swearing, gory head-slicing and explicit quips to camera. And probably more head-slicing.
