Scorsese And De Niro Are Working On Tenth Film Together

Pacino and Pesci are also on board

Martin Scorsese is set to collaborate with his former protégé Robert De Niro again.

The actor told Digital Spy that I Heard You Paint Houses will be their tenth film together, during an interview to promote his new comedy The Intern.

We are doing it… We should be doing it sometime next year. We’re slowly, slowly getting it in place," said the 72-year-old.

And as if that wasn't exciting enough for fans of the pair's past collaborations, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are also set to join the cast.

The project, based upon Charles Brandt's book I Heard You Paint Houses: The Story Of The Biggest Mob Hit In History (the 'paint' of the title being blood...), tells the real-life story of notorious mobster hitman Frank 'the Irishman' Sheeran who confessed to the author he organised more than 25 hits for the mob.
