Let the speculation begin. Disney just debuted the latest trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, kicking off what will inevitably be weeks of fandom until we're teased with the next sweet, sweet look at the year's most anticipated movie.

The trailer, along with the poster released this weekend, provides more hints that Rey (the Leia-looking character played by Daisy Ridley) could be the movie's main heroine. We also get some more details about the First Order, which is the new incarnation of the Empire from the original series.

It's the latest in a lengthy and painfully slow rollout of Star Wars news ahead of the release of the seventh installment of the franchise on December 18. In previous trailers, we got the first glimpse of Han Solo and Chewbacca, the reveal of BB-8 (the rolling droid that already comes in toy form), and Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver) three-bladed lightsaber that pissed off everyone but Stephen Colbert. Oh, and that awesome shot of Darth Vader's messed-up helmet.

Anyway, why are you still reading about the cast and not already on your fifth viewing of the trailer? And once you get sick of that, here's the original 1977 Star Wars: A New Hope trailer for comparison.
