Wonder Woman Makes Her Debut In Batman v Superman Trailer

Wonder Woman joins the son of Krypton and the Bat of Gotham in new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

After a moody teaser earlier this week, a second, full length trailer has been released for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and it looks like Wonder Woman is joining the apocalyptic super power party.

The trailer debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where the man who is playing the caped crusader, Ben Affleck, was a guest.

While previous snippets had only really alluded to the film's stars: Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman, the new trailer throws a compelling support cast into the mayhem, with a glimpse at Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth; a psychotic Jesse Eisenburg as Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luther and an introduction to the film's third lead, Wonder Woman, played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

Super hero franchises may be one of the most played out tropes in modern Hollywood, but this trailer has us hoping that there might be life beyond grey, plastic blockbusters.
