President Obama will continue his streak of offbeat media appearances when he's the first guest on season seven of Jerry Seinfeld's online series for Crackle Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It marks roughly a year of non-traditional interviews for the president, who made headlines by sitting down with digital-only media outlets like Vox and BuzzFeed as well as appearing on Marc Maron's WTF podcast and, this month, Running Wild With Bear Grylls.

The episode, which will be released Wednesday, December 30, at 11:30 p.m. ET, was shot at the White House this month, according to CBS News. The president and Seinfeld take turns driving in circles around the South Lawn in a baby blue 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe. Later, they walk through the White House before enjoying coffee in a basement staff dining room.

While Obama isn't a comedian, Seinfeld has brought on actors with comedic talents, like Sarah Jessica Parker and Alec Baldwin in the past. And the president does have some comedic chops of his own. (See: The White House Correspondents' Dinner.)

"Growing up in the '60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut—doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space," Seinfeld said in a statement about the episode. "Being President and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day."

Other guests during season seven include Will Ferrell, Steve Martin and Garry Shandling.
