In a scene that wouldn't feel out of place in one of his Hollywood films, Jamie Foxx has rescued a man from a burning truck after it crashed outside his house.
The actor rushed outside to help 32-year-old Brett Kyle after his Toyota Tacoma rolled over and caught fire in front of his home in Ventura County, California, KCAL 9 reports.
Foxx helped an off-duty ambulance technician to cut the driver out of his seatbelt and pull him from the vehicle.
"As I'm getting him out, I said, 'You've got to help me get you out because I don't want to have to leave you,'" Foxx said.
"I said, 'You've angels around you,'" he added.
"I don't look at it as heroic. I just look at it as…you just had to do something. It all worked out."
Foxx later posted an image on Instagram of himself with the driver's father. He added the caption: "Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters.
