Arnie Confirms His Return To Comedy With 'Why We're Killing Gunther'

He plays the world's greatest hitman, naturally

He's had his fun with politics and making those dodgy Terminator follow-ups, but now it's been confirmed that Arnie will indeed be back where he belongs: making dumb action comedies.

The actor will take the lead role in Why We're Killing Gunther, a new film directed by Saturday Night Live alum Taran Killam, which will see him play the titular role of Gunther, described as 'the world's greatest assassin.'

The plot reportedly revolves around 'a group of eccentric international assassins' who are sick of Gunther over shadowing them and decide to kill him. Naturally, the scheme 'quickly turns into a series of embarrassing encounters' as Gunther is 'always one step ahead'.

Production is expected to start in June of this year, so expect a release some time in 2017.
