We all make mistakes dating, but only on Tinder do we have those errors catalogued forever in our pockets. This must be how Texan Sabryna Salazar felt whilst watching swimmer Joseph Schooling beat Michael Phelps and win an Olympic gold medal.
Salazar, a 20 year old psychology student, Tweeted an image of a tender Tinder moment between the two last April:
She then shared that she had never followed up on the romantic advances:
"Honestly, I just thought it was hilarious that we had matched at one point." Salazar told MailOnline, "It's pretty crazy to think you've had an interaction with an Olympic gold medal winner." Sure, keep trying to find that silver lining, Sabryna.
Even her mum was questioning her life choices:
The tale took another hilarious twist in when Schooling's girlfriend Casey Shomaker posted an image after his win, it transpires the two have been dating for quite a while.
Enjoy Rio whilst you can, Joseph.
