Prepare To Get Emotional '90s Fans: The Trailer For Oasis Documentary 'Supersonic' Is Here

Careful you don't go crying your heart out

The first trailer for the new Oasis documentary Supersonic has been released and it looks like it's going to be more than a little emotional.

The film, which is released in cinemas on 2 October, was produced Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees, the team behind award-winning documentaries Amy and Senna.

Supersonic charts the Gallagher brothers twenty year story from just "two lads on a council estate" to gargantuan fame - with a fair few brawls along the way. It has been described as a "blast of 90s nostalgia," and we've already spotted several bucket hats.

Though Liam and Noel's voiceovers were recorded separately, fans are still hopeful of a reunion which was strongly hinted at by the film's director, Mat Whitecross. Speaking at Festival No.6 last weekend Whitecross said:

"I think they've still got it. They should go out and give it a go. I feel people out there want it so I hope they get it."

Liam was typically measured and humble when commenting on the trailer.
