It would be fair to say that Apple's newly unveiled wireless AirPod headphones have not gone down well with the general public, but fortunately they have come up with a solution: you can just buy them individually if you lose one, which you definitely, definitely will do. 

Speaking to Mashable, Apple confirmed that they will release single AirPod buds "through normal service channels", which we think is corporate speak for in shops and online.

Right now a set of AirPod headphones retail for $159 (about £120), but that includes a carry case and Lightning cable, so you can probably expect to pay from £40-50 for a new bud if you drop them on the bus, down the toilet, through a grate, or into the depths of Hades.
