Man Of Many Mistakes Mario Balotelli Says Joining Liverpool Was 'Worst Mistake Of His Life'

Super Mario also laid into his former managers

What the worst mistake of your life? Mario Balotelli's is signing for Liverpool football club where he was paid tens of thousands of pounds a week to play football.

When interviewed after his debut for Nice – during which the Frenchman netted two goals – Balotelli said: "I joined Liverpool. It was the worst mistake of my life."

This, remember, is a man who once had to escape from his own house after he accidentally set it ablaze by letting off fireworks in his bathroom.

Still, his time at the Kop is the 26-year-old's biggest regret, mainly down to the two men who managed him.

"Apart from the fans – who were fantastic with me, I must be honest – and the players, who I had a good rapport with, I didn't like the club," he continued.

"I had two coaches, Brendan Rodgers and Jürgen Klopp. As people, they didn't make a good impression on me. I didn't get along with them."

Never change, Mario.
