Having built a small working village and finished off your life size replica of the x-wing ,you're probably wondering what to do with your LEGO next.

Excellent news, then, that Flybrix have just released a drone kit that is totally compatible with your LEGO building blocks, meaning your drone is totally customisable to your taste.

The Flybrix kits come with propellers, motors, custom attachment bricks, pre-programmed Arduino-compatible flight control circuit board, and all the cables you'll need. More excitingly they also come with smartphone compatibility for drone control which works through Bluetooth. The Deluxe edition also has physical remote for piloting your custom drone.

The drones are "crash-friendly," which means you can even take them on a night out with you, though you might get some odd looks.

Co-founders of the startup wanted to, "Get teens, or younger kids with adult supervision, interested in things like geometry, aerodynamics and electrical engineering."

The Flybrix kits are available for $149 (£113) for the basic kit and $189 (£144) for the Deluxe.
