Lil' Wayne Officiated A Same-Sex Wedding While In Prison

As you do

In a week of odd hip-hop revelations (after Drake and his action film) it's been revealed that the rapper Lil' Wayne took it upon himself to officiate a same-sex wedding while incarcerated.

In an extract from his handwritten memoir titled Gone 'Til November, which recounts his eight months in prison for gun charges, Lil' Wayne describes decorating the prison hall with toilet paper and marrying off two male inmates, before celebrating with bottles of Gatorade.

"Gatorade is liquid gold in this bitch," he writes. "Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy."

Wayne (we're going to call him Wayne now), also discussed his girlfriend's infidelity with Drake, saying: "Finding out that she fucked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could have found out.

"Drizzy came to see me, he was like, 'Yeah, it's true'. Damn! This is the type of shit a man never wants to find out while he is locked up."

Wayne then goes on to detail happier visits from Kanye West and P.Diddy, along with one from his girlfriend, whom he requested wear a dress without underwear so she could "do a 'Basic Instinct'

Unfortunately, Weezy's plans were thwarted by the prison authorities. "They have extensive-ass searches before you come in here, so they made her put on a pair of boxers because they knew she didn't have on panties. Damn!"

Riveting stuff, Wayne. Riveting stuff.

Gone 'Til November is out 11 October.
