A 9am yoga session and a 12pm jog through London with Adidas started and ended what was a adrenaline-pumping fitness morning at Townhouse. After perfecting their downward facing dogs, the attendees choose to either join Matt Roberts for his MX Fitness Class, go boxing with Form founder Jerry Abadom or go on Barry's Bootcamp. TED speaker Roger Frampton then gave a special class called 'Move Like You Once Could'. Suffice to say the Townhouse was full of glowing faces looking for a well-earned sit down in no time.

2 | Cocktails and ceviche

With 51 different types of rum behind their bar, London Asia de Cuba knows a thing or two about deliciously sweet cocktails. Luckily, their Executive Chef Luis Pous knows a thing or two about deliciously spicy ceviche. Together it made for a great event with the Cuban master talking us through how he prepares his fish and - naturally - letting us try some for ourselves.

3 | In conversation with Ed Stafford

The first man to walk the entire length of the Amazon river, author, explorer Ed Stafford was in the Esquire townhouse to discuss his incredible journey through inhospitable terrain; a trek that saw him overcome seemingly insurmountable conditions, swarms of mosquitoes, drug cartels and massive psychological strain. Beyond the tale of his journey, what was most compelling was Ed's candid outlook on mental health and the effects of sustained periods of loneliness. He's a bit braver than us.
